Finding your path in life isn’t always easy.
It can feel like fumbling in a dark room for a switch – frustrating, confusing and terrifying at times.
Maybe you don’t know what you want. Maybe you do, but change scares you. Maybe you just want to connect with others who refuse to settle for less. Either way, you’re not alone.
No matter where you are, what you do, or who you aim to be – I’m dedicated to helping you find work you love.
Few people stumble upon purposeful and fulfilling work by accident. (If you’re one of them, congratulations!) However, most of us have to make conscious and consistent choices to get to where we want to be.
So if you’re not there yet, don’t worry. You’re in the right place now.
My name is Maria and I’m from Stockholm, Sweden. I’m a blogger, yoga teacher and personal development junkie.
Throughout life, I’ve always followed the “recipe for success”. I got good grades, worked hard and finally, I landed a top marketing job in Paris. It was everything I’d always dreamt of – or so I thought.
After a couple of months, an uncomfortable feeling started to creep in. A feeling of not being in the right place or doing the right thing. The tipping point came when a dear friend of mine unexpectedly passed away.
Questions such as, “Who am I?”, “What am I doing with my life?” and “Am I living life true to myself?” started to pop up. At that point I knew I had to change, I just didn’t know where to.
So, I went traveling. Together with my sister, I went on a year-long, completely unplanned, trip that lead us to New York, Dominican Republic and Formentera, Spain. It was a time to reconnect back with myself, to discover who I am and what I truly want.
Today, I’m creating my life consciously. Piece by piece, I’m laying the foundation for a life that I truly want.
This is where Fabulous Mondays comes in. I take the best of what I learn and share with you. If I can go from feeling lost and confused about my life’s direction to feeling clear about it, then so can you.
Write a comment on the blog (love reading those!) or shoot me an email. Oh, and make sure to sign up for my newsletters – that’s where I share the best stuff.
